Twilight Obsession

So, I’ve been absent from here for quite a while.. again. I know, I know. I’ll never really get the hang of blogging constantly, but that’s mainly because I don’t have much going on. So there really isn’t much to say.

Instead of actually doing reasonable things in life, I’ve just been catching up on my reading the past few weeks. I think I’ve read like 20 or more books. Refreshing to step away from the computer and all the dead ends that are on here to dive into a book for several hours. There’s two different series of books that I’ve gotten interested in lately and I just so love them.

One saga is by Christina Dodd. It’s called “Darkness Chosen.” It’s about a family and a centuries/millennial old curse and how they find the good side of it then the ability to change/destroy the curse over their family. Three sons, a daughter and then a stranger. It’s just a wonderful, intense read. I’ve enjoyed all three books so far: Scent of Darkness, Touch of Darkness, and Into the Shadow. The final book, Into the Flame, will be released on August 5th, so I am definitely looking forward to finishing the series with the last book that is such a twist to the others.

The second book saga has become famous all around. Written by Stephenie Meyer. Yes, I have fallen victim to the Twilight saga. I can’t say enough about it. I had seen the books on the shelf before, but for some reason they didn’t really appeal to me then. But when I saw them on a friend’s shelf and she mentioned what they were about and how everyone was talking of them, well, I fell into them just like I did with Harry Potter. And I am so glad I did. I am just obsessed with these books, more so than Harry Potter. I have read both of the first two books TWICE within a week or two. I’ve never done that with a book before. But I have enjoyed these books so much that I want to read them, again and again. I finished “Eclipse” within 10 hours, that is how wonderful these books are, and now I want to read it again. “Breaking Dawn” comes out on August 2nd. It’s the last book of the saga. And I am in such a state of anticipation for it. I have my own ideas of what I desperately want to happen. It will be very interesting to see what and how the author has closed the saga. I can’t wait for it.

I also want to watch a movie this weekend. “The Dark Knight.” I’ve heard all kinds of good things about it from people who have been able to see advanced screenings of it. So it should be super great. I really do want to see it and check out how great it is.

That’s all for right now, I think it’s enough. So I’ll try to write more, try being the keyword here.
