The Authoress
My name’s Anita Jackson, I am 27 years old from the hills of Eastern Kentucky. I currently attend Big Sandy Community and Technical College in pursuit of a Business Administration degree with a concentration in Management.
In my free time I enjoy reading, drawing, and writing. I have a love for music though I do not listen to it often enough. I love photography and hope to one day be able to sell prints of my own. I’m a bit of an oddity, I can have a really odd sense of humor and the strangest things strike me as funny. I tend to daydream.. a lot. So there are times when I will have no idea what conversation is going on because my mind has been wandering to other things. I love traveling and I hope to find something in life that will allow me to travel constantly and as often as possible.
-*- I am -*-
… convinced that life is 10% of what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it.
… an artist who enjoys the colors of pencils, digital graphics, and the imagination.
… an author when I dip into my imagination for the stories of my world.
… my own heroine — in every story I write, or every story I read.
… complicated to the point of being very detailed and observant.
… the romantic who dreams of candle and moonlight with roses.
… a supporter of doing little things which mean the most.
… able to keep the secrets of the world in my pocket.
… always available to lend an ear and listen or a shoulder for the tears.
… the one who smiles at strangers when our gazes cross and meet.
… a healer, the person who takes care of others and fixes the scrapes of children.
… the private person, cautious about letting others into my personal space.
… very quiet in large groups, yet amusing when something interests me.
… one of slow temper that boils and flashes, but then tends to simmer.
… always thinking and daydreaming of fairytales for tomorrow.
… a creature of habit and procrasination.
… fond of animals from cats, dogs to my favorite – the dolphin.
… not fond of insects or reptiles.
… content to stare at the stars and the moon for hours on end.
… at peace with nature and her many charms, especially the wind and storms.
… in love with September when leaves turn gold for Fall.
… smitten with May and the blooming of nature waking up.
… a nervous person in crowded places.
… the bookworm who’s collection of novels is very large and extensive.
… a chef who leans towards the southern/italian cooking.
… one who enjoys the more gourmet side of food and drink.
… barely tolerant of those who are immature, hypocritic, disrespectful, rude, conceited.
… one who finds humor in the oddest of places.
… the compassionate one who will always lend a hand to those that need it.
… at times, odd and crazy with an unorthodox way of doing things.
… fond of peach/sunset roses, pink orchids, purple irises, white calla lilies.
… stubborn to a fault, but easily discouraged when confronted with negativity.
