Would you miss me if I was gone?
Passed on from this place to the one beyond
Would you notice the empty space..
Vanished, gone… without a trace..
Would it matter if nothing was there
Just another empty breath of air

Who would notice, dare I wonder
Who would care, I’d like to know
Deep inside my world is breaking
On the outside I won’t let it show

Would you read this and shake your head
Say she’s just talking that’s all it is
Would you shrug and pass me by
Just like so many that’s lost alive
Would you say that it’ll be okay
But I have to go now, maybe another day

Is it really not that important
Is it really not worth knowing
Does it matter.. no, not really
Please be silent, that’s all there is
No one needs to know you’re hurting
No one needs to care that you’re cold

It’s all so quiet and still
Close your eyes to a lullaby
You’ll not wake up after tomorrow
With all those pills inside
A cut down the arm may be a scratch
But deep enough to harm
